Part time and visiting faculty too contributes to enrich the quality of the core courses and electives offered to the students. COMPUTER CENTRE Computer Centre plays a critical role as a learning center both for the students and faculty. MTWC is equipped with state-of-the-art computing facility with more than 200 Pentium Core-2 Duo machines and TFT monitors. MTWC is committed to provide the best computer education. Keeping this in mind, it is the first institute in the city to develop Wi-Fi campuses connecting all departments through wireless networking. The computer centre is also serving as training place for Microsoft Inc. USA, Cisco Inc., USA as its academic alliance partners. It also provides all relevant latest software packages to enable the students to work on data analysis, text processing, simulation, information management, computer-aided instructions and cases, preparing each student for the professional job market. Round the clock internet facility with connectivity through leased lines and broadband with 2 MBPS speed gives students more opportunity to know the world and enhance their knowledge at a faster pace. RESEARCH CENTRE Research and analysis centres are an integral and important constituent of any educational setup. With this firm belief, MTWC has invested generously in all the research and analysis centres making them well lit, airy and aesthetically designed. These centres provide students the opportunity to work in a modern setting with the latest equipments and instruments required for practical and research purposes. MTWC is developing a state of art life science research center for its postgraduate students in Biotechnology & Microbiology. The MTWC has a digital library comprising of a rich collection of carefully selected books, journals and periodicals, newspapers, audio cassettes and compact discs. The library has in its stocks more than 20000 books, more than 64 subscribed journals and magazines and over 2000 e-journals in its digital library section. The library is also having the facility of DELNET, which allows the students to work on digital network of libraries belonging to premier institutions across the world. MTWC strives to continue to develop it with extensive holdings and contemporary methods of information access that support both faculty and students. The library is housed in spacious halls comprising the reference hall and stack area with reading room spaces. Books from the Book Bank are issued to the needy students. They return the books just after the examinations. Industrial Visits : The students of MTWC frequently travel to various industries as the part of the industrial visit component of the programmes offered. These are excellent opportunities for students to gain exposure to real life work environment and culture. MTWC maintains a close interaction with industry professionals involving them in various activities through seminars, guest lectures, projects, consulting etc. Interaction with top professionals of the industrial world help the students to get a glimpse of the corporate working environment. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING : Industrial training is also provided to the students according to the requirement of their course curriculum to gain exposure and explore the practical learning.
